Up And Close Bharat Tour 2021 -

In the month of December of 2020 Milind started coughing and it simply won't stop! After many medicines of different pathys like Aurved, Allopathy and Homeopathy the cough wouldn't go away. Then Milind thought weather change might help and thus decided to go to Goa as the weather there is warm and humid with sea breeze.

On the 1st of January 2021 Milind started towards Goa in his car. The cough disappeared in 2 days in Goa!! It was a solo travel that would eventually become a straight 6-month long road tour. Milind returned home on teh 6th July 2021, enrighted with experience and lots of folk music!!

From Goa, Milind travelled to Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Pondicherry and returned to Pune just to take a bigger suitcase and some music equipment. Then he travelled to Gujrath, Rajasthan, Punjab, Himachal, Delhi and landed in Rishikesh - the famous town of Uttrakhand.

​

From there Milind spent one month travelling in Uttrakhand, Then one month in Himachal and then one month in Ladakh via Jammu and Kashmir.

​

Wherever he would go, he would connect with the local musicians and learn the local folk melodies from that interaction. He even attended a wedding in a tiny little village of Himachal.

In this tour Milind clicked thousands of photographs, composed dozens of new melodies, created a couple of new Raags, recorded for almost 6 to 8 albums, attended several festivals including Kumbh Mela and also a few concerts!
